Former LOONA members HyunJin, YeoJin, Vivi, Go Won, & Hyeju reveal their new group name

This past weekend, former LOONA members HyunJin, YeoJin, Vivi, Go Won, and Hyeju (Olivia Hye) greeted their fans with their first fan meeting after signing with their new agency, CTD E&M. 

Gathered at Jamsil Students' Gymnasium, the five girls spent time interacting in-person with their fans, who were known as Orbit during LOONA's official activities. And during the event, some familiar faces also made surprise appearances - former LOONA members Chuu and Yves!

No doubt, many fans were thrilled to see the members maintaining their friendship, despite going their separate ways. 

After the fan meeting, HyunJin, YeoJin, Vivi, Go Won, and Hyeju officially revealed their new team name - LOOSSEMBLE!

The name, as many of you may have already guessed, combines the words "LOONA" with "assemble", while also carrying a more story-based meaning as explained below. 

While CTD E&M has yet to announce any specific details regarding LOOSSEMBLE's debut or future activities, fans have at least discovered that the members are going by the new team name already for their individual schedules. (Below: HyunJin of LOOSSEMBLE will throw the first pitch at the Kiwoo Heroes games on August 8.)
