Former Trainee A team member Leo signs with B.I's 131 Label

Former Trainee A team member Leo has signed on as a new artist under 131 Label, home to musician B.I. 

Leo previously garnered attention as a member of the former "debut team" under Big Hit Music, known as Trainee A. Then, some time in 2021, the idol trainee faced immense criticism online for his self-composed lyrics for a rap evaluation, which many found misogynistic. As a result, in August of 2022, Leo announced his departure from the team and HYBE Labels, and some time away from the trainee life. 

Approximately 4 months later, Big Hit Music also announced the disbandment of the Trainee A team as a whole, disappointing numerous fans who had been looking forward to their debut. 

Now, as of July 25 KST, Leo will be starting fresh as a solo musician with 131 Label. In fact, the musician has also opened up his own SNS channels including Instagram, where he left a message for his fans on this day:
