Blockberry Creative is determined to continue their legal fight against the LOONA members.
Previously on June 16, it was reported that all 12 LOONA members had won their lawsuits to end their exclusive contracts with their agency Blockberry Creative, with the Seoul High Court having found in favor of the remaining five members, Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye, and Go Won. While there will be no significant restrictions on the member’s immediate activities, it cannot be said that their fight with the company is entirely over yet.
On June 24, a representative of Blockberry Creative provided a short statement through StarNews, announcing their intentions to continue taking legal actions against the group’s members.
The company explained they have plans to “appeal the decision” recently made by the Seoul High Court and additionally prepare for the primary lawsuit related to the effectiveness of the exclusive contract. Blockberry is also awaiting for the results of the upcoming verdict on their primary case against LOONA’s ex-member Chuu in August, which has been proceeding for at least two years. The company official ultimately expressed that “there is still a long way to go” in their legal proceedings against the members.
