Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun have been confirmed for JTBC's new drama 'Welcome to Samdalri'.

Ji Chang Wook will be playing the role of Jo Yong Pil, a weather forecaster who works in Jeju Island. Yongpil is known for being outspoken against his office and is always at war of words with the head of the Korean Meteorological Administration. On the other hand, Shin Hye Sun plays the role of famous photographer Cho Eun Hye. Eun Hye grew up dreaming of escaping Jeju Island since a young age, and leaves for Seoul where she finds great success in the fashion photography industry. The production team stated, "We expect the two actors to bring great success to the JTBC drama in 2023, with their bright and cheerful energy."

'Welcome to Samdalri' is scheduled to air during the second half of 2023.
