Busan Tutor murderer says the victim came back alive and spoke to her, requests a psychiatric evaluation

AKP STAFF

The Busan Tutor murder case has shocked Korea with new findings. It was revealed that the murderer Jung Yoo Jung (age 23), committed the heinous crime out of curiosity.

The victim, a university student, and freelance tutor, first encountered Jung Yoo Jung on a tutoring app. Pretending to be a concerned parent, Jung Yoo Jung approached the victim, seeking English lessons for her fictional middle school child.

Carrying out her deceitful scheme, Jung Yoo Jung went to great lengths by acquiring a school uniform and wearing it to masquerade as a student. She then made her way to the victim's residence, as evidenced by the street surveillance footage, where she tragically ended the victim's life.

On June 26, JTBC and other news media outlets revealed that Jung Yoo Jung had stabbed the victim a total of 111 times. It was also found that Jung Yoo Jung had stabbed the victim's palms several times after the victim had stopped resisting and cut off relevant body parts to avoid identification through the victim's fingerprints.

Additionally, it was found that Jung Yoo Jung had searched for "family member murder" on her phone before committing the crime and even foretold her crimes in a phone call with her father.

It was found that Jung Yoo Jung had spoken to her father for two hours on the phone, confessing her discontent feelings to her father three days before committing the crime. It was revealed Jung Yoo Jung said to her father, "I will do something bad, then you (father) will suffer. After I commit something bad, I will commit suicide."

At the time of the prosecution investigation, Jung Yoo Jung confessed, "I definitely killed the victim, but she came back alive and spoke to me," and requested that she receive a mental evaluation.

Regarding this, criminal psychologists analyzed that it is highly likely that Jung Yoo Jung is aiming for a lenient judgment for being ruled mentally unstable through that statement.

Jung Yoo Jung also is said to have made statements such as "I felt betrayed after my father remarried," and "I felt frustrated because I had to continue living with my grandfather, whom I did not get along with."

Previously, Jung Yoo Jung was arrested and indicted on June 21 on charges of murder, corpse desecration, corpse abandonment, and theft. A prosecution official stated, "Jung Yoo Jung seemingly sought an outlet for the deep-seated anger accumulated throughout her troubled upbringing, strained family relationships, educational and employment failures. It is believed that her psychopathic tendencies influenced the commission of the crime."

So basically she is trying to claim insanity but then again, you kinda have to be insane to murder someone and then rip them apart too after that, but I get what people mean when they say that they're not insane, the difference is pretty much that when you're deemed not insane, you were fully aware of what you're doing and the consequence it's going to have etc. Well, if she thinks that she's going to have it better in a forensic hospital then she's wrong
