Mnet's upcoming show "Queendom Puzzle" is already making waves even before its first broadcast.

Star producers like Ryan S. Jhun, Kim Eana, Ylva Dimberg, and Michelle Cho have collaborated on the title signal songs, set to be released on May 18 KST.

"Queendom Puzzle" kicks off the competition with a unique double signal song. Explaining the idea behind this unusual approach, the show stated, "With a diverse group of K-pop female artists participating, we wanted to showcase different combinations and stages by preparing two songs."

The signal song will be released in four versions, both in terms of music and stage performances. Two teams each worked on one song, creating performances that highlight their distinct charms. As a result, viewers can enjoy two different audio and stage versions for each song. The signal song's special performance video will premiere on Mnet's "M!Countdown" on May 18 and 25, with the official music available on domestic and international music platforms at 6 p.m. KST on the respective days.

The first signal song, "SNAP," is said to be a hip-hop-based track with captivating vocals and sophisticated rhythms that instantly grab listeners' attention. With its musically interesting components, it promises to deliver an enjoyable experience.

The song has already caught the attention of K-pop enthusiasts, as it was composed by Ryan S. Jhun, known for producing hit songs for top Korean stars like IU, NCT, and IVE, and lyricist Kim Eana, who has worked with artists like IVE, Sung Si Kyung, and Park Hyo Shin. Furthermore, other notable composers, including those involved in Seulgi's "Bad Boy," LE SSERAFIM's "No Celestial," and TXT's "Sugar Rush Ride," have contributed to the song, building up high expectations.

On the other hand, the second signal song, "Charismatic," is an upbeat dance track aiming to captivate listeners with a confident and charismatic performance. It features an appealing ethnic flute sound that repeats throughout the intro. The chorus, in particular, adds a grander sound to create a lively atmosphere.

"Charismatic" which was said to be an upbeat song that conveys positive energy was composed by Ylva Dimberg, known for her works NewJeans' "Hype Boy," "OMG," and "Ditto," as well as Girls' Generation's "Forever 1." The collaboration with reliable producers like Michelle Cho who has worked with renowned Korean artists such as Baekhyun, Onew, and Kai, adds further excitement.

Choi Young Joon and LACHICA will serve as performance directors. Choi Young Joon, a choreographer renowned for his work with K-pop artists like SEVENTEEN, BTS, and TWICE, is expected to maximize the artists' appeal in directing the signal song "SNAP." LACHICA, a dance crew known for their impressive work with Chung Ha, TWICE, and IVE, will deliver a special stage performance for "Charismatic."

The signal song performance video, featuring all-time lineup producers, will premiere on Mnet's "M!Countdown" just two days after its release on the May 18, so stay tuned for more updates!

I can only trust Ylva Dimberg here for the composers. And the choreographers... yes, Lachica and Chou Young Joon are the best.
