BLACKPINK's Jennie is the cover star of Vogue Japan's July 2023 issue!
On May 25 KST, initial photos promoting the issue were released online. The photos from the pictorial, under the concept 'On an Unknown Journey,' show Jennie donning various looks from Chanel's Métiers D'art 2022/23 collection to create a retro glam mood.
The preview images were shared through various Korean online community boards, with BLACKPINK fans on Instiz quick to comment on the idol's latest magazine feature. Comments included, "Her high bun hairstyle is pretty," "Wow, but she's really so busy hahaha, When do our girls ever sleep?," "Maybe it's because it's coming out in Japan, but it's got kind of a Japanese vibe hahah," "I want to make this cover into a poster and hang it on my wall," "She's really like a kitten," and more.
Meanwhile, Jennie is the second BLACKPINK member to have her own cover feature for Vogue Japan, with Lisa having appeared on the cover back in June 2021.
