Veteran actor Ahn Sung Ki says he has recovered his health after battling blood cancer

Veteran actor Ahn Sung Ki (71) appeared at the award ceremony looking healthier after battling blood cancer.

On April 19th, Ahn Sung Ki appeared looking healthier at the 4th 4.19 Democracy and Peace award ceremony. On this day, he was awarded for his dedication as an ambassador for UNICEF for 30 years since 1993. This time, he made his first public appearance without a wig or a hat since he announced that he has been battling cancer for over a year.

Regarding his health, he commented, "I fell ill when I was thinking about what I should achieve in the last phase of my life so I have been fighting the illness. But now I have almost made a full recovery."
