Haha and Byul recently conveyed their feelings about their youngest daughter, who is suffering from a rare illness.

On April 4, Haha and Byul recently appeared on ENA's K-star 'Haha Bus' and revealed the story they had never told before. Byul revealed that their youngest daughter Song suffered from Guillain-Barré Syndrome after being diagnosed last year.

Byul shared that they were hesitant to talk about their daughter's illness because they didn't want to make their hardships known to the public because there are families with children who have suffered longer.

Haha and Byul explained that their daughter's illness came suddenly when she complained of a stomach ache one day. Byul continued to share, "We never imagined she would be suffering from another disease but one day she started walking oddly so we took her to the hospital where she was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome." They explained they never imagined that their daughter would be suffering from a rare disease.

Haha shared, "I am a person who appears on entertainment shows. But my family is (suffering) like this and I had to go and make people laugh. It was hell every day for me." He went on to say, "I cried every day. My heart was pounding and it was not in a good place that I couldn't even stand straight."

Meanwhile, Guillain-Barré Syndrome is a disease in which the body's immune system attacks its own nerves. The symptoms begin with weakness and tingling sensation in the hand and feet. The symptoms spread to the whole body, eventually paralyzing it.
