On the morning of April 5 KST, the Seoul Central District Court announced a verdict in actress Kim Sae Ron's Road Traffic Act violation case.
Previously, Kim Sae Ron was apprehended some time in May of last year after ramming into a transformer on the side of a road in Gangnam-gu, Cheongdam-dong with her car, then fleeing the scene. At the time of apprehension, police discovered that her blood alcohol content (BAC) was approximately 0.2%.
After admitting to all charges including driving under the influence at her first court hearing on March 8 of this year, Kim Sae Ron faced a fine of 20 million KRW (~ $15,260 USD). Now, the fine has been confirmed by the Seoul Central District Court for Kim Sae Ron's first Road Traffic Act offense.
Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron declined any questions from the press while attending this morning's court procession.
