BLACKPINK's Jisoo sets record for highest 1st-week album sales by a female soloist on Hanteo

BLACKPINK member Jisoo has wrapped up the first-week sales for her solo debut album.

According to the data released by Hanteo, the singer's first solo album 'ME' had 876,249 copies sold on its first day of release on March 31. The album then accumulated 1,172,351 copies sold in the first week of its release.

With this, 'ME' has become the highest-selling album by a female solo artist in first-week sales, ranking second overall among K-pop female artist, behind her group's 'BORN PINK'.

In addition, the album debuted at #1 on this week's Circle Chart with over 1 million units sold.
