Yang Hyun Suk formally resumes his post as head producer of YG Entertainment

Yang Hyun Suk has returned to his position as head producer of YG Entertainment.

On February 9, YG Entertainment released an introductory profile film of member Ruka from the agency's upcoming rookie girl group, Baby Monster. In the film, various YG Entertainment affiliates appeared and described Ruka's talents, skills, and potential as an artist. 

Yang Hyun Suk, making a brief appearance in the introductory film alongside choreographer LEEJUNG and producer/rap coach Big Tone, was shown with the title "YG Head Producer".

Meanwhile, in 2020, Yang Hyun Suk was sentenced to a fine of approximately $14,000 USD for being found guilty of illegal overseas gambling. In December of 2022, Yang Hyun Suk was ultimately found 'not guilty' in a lengthy criminal case involving an informant 'A', who gave former iKON member B.I's name to the police during a questioning for illegal drug use.
