On January 6, it was reported that NCT's Haechan would be absent from NCT 127's 'The Link' tour in the US and Latin America due to heart palpitations.
SM Entertainment made the announcement reporting Haechan's health and explained Haechan has been recently experiencing abnormal symptoms of heart palpitations, so he visited the hospital with his manager.
The agency announced, "Haechan has been feeling constricted in his chest and experiencing heart palpitations so he visited the hospital with his manager for a check-up and received necessary treatment. As it is important for Haechan to have sufficient rest to recover, he will be absent from schedules to rest and recover."
With Haechan's absence, the NCT members and fans are continuing to wish and pray for his recovery. Taeyong asked fans to pray for Haechaen during a performance hoping the member could join the group again.
Taeyong asked fans, "Let us all pray tonight so that Haechan can get better."
