Between 2008 to 2016, IU wasn't that popular soloist artist, internationally, her popularity was more local (South Korea), so her youtube videos weren't that searched worldwide, even none of her MVs had surpassed 99M views on youtube, while soloists like HYUNA and GD had already achieved 100M views

2. Between 2010 to 2014, T-ARA, SNSD, 2NE1 and KARA were more popular and therefore more searched on youtube than IU, it is impossible for iu to be more searched than any of those 4 powerful groups in those years.
