Each member of a K-pop group is often given one or more specific official positions. There are roles like the lead vocalist, lead rapper, main vocalist, main rapper, main dancer, sub-vocalist, leader, and visual, among others. These roles are significant within the group and aid in showcasing each member's unique talent. However, in some K-Pop groups, there is no official position except the leader. In these groups, everyone is considered to be an all-rounder.

TXT

TXT is one of the most popular fourth-generation K-Pop groups. The group is formed by BigHit Music. The group consists of five members who made their official debut on March 4, 2019. TXT was well-known even before making their debut because they were the first group to debut from BigHit after BTS. The company put trust in the members' talent and went with giving no official position to them. Soobin is the leader and in charge of the only official role in the group.

LOONA

Formed by the record label Blockberry Creative, Loona is a fourth-generation K-pop girl group composed of twelve members. Loona is also known by the name “Girl of the Month.” One of the first bands to attempt a positionless group was them. All of the members are talented enough to fill any role in the group. The leader is the only official position entitled to Loona. Member HaSeul is the leader of the group.

Le Sserafim

Le Sserafim is one of the most promising and popular rookie K-Pop girl groups that debuted this year. The group is formed and managed by Hybe Corporation X Source Music. There is now a total of five members after Kim Garam left the group following her bullying controversy. Chaewon is the leader of the group. Other than this, Le Sserafim currently does not have any formal positions.

Rocket Punch

Woollim Entertainment’s six-piece girl band Rocket Punch is a fourth-generation K-Pop girl group. The group debuted on August 7, 2019. Juri Takahashi is known as one of the most popular members of the group. She was a popular former member of the Japanese group AKB48. Leader Yeonhee is the only one with an official position in the group.

Enhypen

Another group of Hybe Corporation, Enhypen, also has no official positions in the group, just like TXT. The group was formed through the survival show “I-Land.” This seven-member group made their debut on November 30, 2020. The only official position Enhypen is given is the position of leader. Member Jungwon is given the leadership responsibility.

Kep1er

Kep1er is a rookie girl group formed through the Mnet’s reality survival program “Girls Planet 999”. The group is co-managed by Swing Entertainment and Wake One Entertainment. The group made their official debut on January 3, 2022. The group, which consists of nine members, only has one official position: leader. There are two leaders in Kep1er. Choi Yujin, a Korean member, is the leader, while Mashiro, a Japanese member, is the co-leader.

Omega X
