Kim Taehyung, aka V of BTS, has been honored with a new MMA (Melon Music Awards) Plaque to commend his achievement as an artist.

On November 12th, Taehyung received his Melon Plaque Award, engraved with the words "Singer we are Proud of." The official account for Melon, South Korea's largest music streaming service, confirmed the delivery of his plaque.

The voting for the Melon Plaque Award was held in October, and only the top 10 most-voted artists among the hundreds nominated were awarded.

Taehyung was the highest-ranking BTS member and the only one to enter the Top 5 with 77,064 accumulated votes.

The award's title was chosen from a statement Taehyung made years ago about his desire to be a singer fans could be proud of. 

This is a goal that Taehyung has long achieved. His music, talents, and good personality have all brought pride to his fans and those who know him. 

Taehyung's soulful voice and healing words have been a source of comfort to people during their troubled times. His compassionate personality has inspired fans to engage in charitable activities and participate in positive social change. 

The Korean government has also taken great pride in Taehyung's accomplishments and impact. His artistry and positive influence have been acknowledged numerous times by different government agencies.

Recently, he proved himself to be a model citizen when the Mayor of Goyang City awarded him a plaque for being an exemplary taxpayer who has contributed to the expansion of the city's finances.
