On September 30, minutes before Jessi took the stage for her first-ever solo concert, the Korean-American rapper attended the media conference in which she answered some questions from the press, and allkpop was one of the media outlets invited to cover the event.

When asked how she felt about holding her 'Zoom in Manila' solo show that took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where she performed in front of thousands of fans, Jessi shared, "[This is my] first concert in general. I've had tours, but this is like the first time I actually have more than a thousand people. I'm like scared like I might throw up."

"They (fans) will definitely gonna experience a different show... This is more like a Jessi solo concert. They're going to experience a different type of connection because this is really my fans, so I can talk about what I really want to talk about," Jessi added. The rapper also revealed that she has a health condition that causes her to be tired, but she added that she had a rehearsal before the show, which energized her as she saw her fans during the soundcheck.

Jessi relayed her thoughts on having a viral song "Zoom," which she just released in April. "[It was] very unexpected. I don't know if a lot of people know but I made the song for 2 days, so it wasn't supposed to be like a song where it would come this viral on TikTok."

Jessi also thanked people, especially her fans, who participated in the "Zoom" dance challenge and who supported her and her release. "I appreciate them so much, and it makes me want to work harder." She added, "I just said 'Zoom In, Zoom Out,' it's something like very basic, but for all the love and support, I'm thankful for everyone who did the dance challenge. I think just the concept of the song, it's such a good TikTok song, but I didn't realize until it went viral on TikTok, so I was like, 'Nowadays, it's all about the internet and social media, so it makes sense.'"

When asked how she thinks the COVID-19 pandemic affected the music industry, "F*ck COVID, first of all. Second of all, for me, I'm very very grateful in a sense because I dropped many, many songs and when COVID actually hit, I dropped 'Nunu Nana.' That was actually the song that put me on the charts, so in a sense, I'm so grateful because during COVID, after 16-18 years of my career, you know, during the hardest moment of our lives right now, my song did well, like back-to-back, Refund Sisters, 'Showterview,' all good things happened, I'm super blessed and very grateful of everything."

On performing on a big stage, Jessi said, "I'm not even lying or anything, but I think today is kind of like one of the biggest celebrations in my life because it's actually my first concert with a big audience. I think I'm gonna feel something today. I might cry."

"I don't have anyone in the back of my head right now, but I would love to work with anyone that's just right. I don't want to just work with anybody because I have a lot of friends in the industry," Jessi said when asked who she would like to collaborate with in the future. "But I would love to work with a lot of American artists, Spanish artists, Filipino artists. I'm not picky with stuff like that, as long as the music is right, the genre is right, and the timing is right," she continued.
