IU will be self-quarantining after close contact with a COVID-19 case.
According to reports on September 30, IU was classified as a close contact after recently attending 'Milan Fashion Week in Italy'. As she'll be in self-quarantine, IU will not be attending the 'Chunsa International Film Festival', and it's uncertain whether she'll be attending the 'New Balance 2022 Run-on Seoul's Women Event' on October 2.
She's said to be currently undergoing PCR tests and waiting for the results.
In other news, IU held her solo concert 'The Golden Hour: Under The Orange Sun' as the first female Korean singer to perform at the Jamsil Sports Complex Olympic Main Stadium on September 17-18.
