Fans are happy about former LUNARSOLAR member TAERYEONG's newly released solo debut!

On September 17th, 2022, at 12 PM KST, TAERYEONG made her solo debut with 'Happy Tri,,' a song she wrote to deliver a message of happy memories to fans who were sad about LUNARSOLAR's disbandment on May 22nd, 2022.

Fans admired how she worked on this project as a completely independent artist with help from her friend, former vocal coach, and former girl group Dorothy member Jiyu. Jiyu helped with directing and producing the song, while K.loop helped to arrange and compose. As well as writing along with TAERYEONG and Jiyu.

TAERYEONG has had a long journey in the entertainment industry. She made her first appearance in 2016, on the survival show Produce101, as Lim Jeongmin. During that time, she was a trainee in the company Yama & Hot Chicks, which was planning to debut a new girl group named SEEART. However, SEEART never debuted, and it wasn't clear if TAERYEONG would be in the line-up in the first place.

In 2016, she also joined the now-defunct company STAR MUSIC. They planned to debut a girl group named PRINCESS; however, due to controversy over one of the other members (Seungchae), their debut failed, and many trainees left. The company then changed its name to Newplan Entertainment and debuted soloist Yuseol, who is now pursuing an actress career under the name Joungyun.

In 2017, she joined the YG Entertainment survival show MixNine as a trainee from ONO Entertainment. She was supposed to debut in their girl group Black Mamba. Unfortunately, the group also never ended up debuting.

In October 2018, she joined DK Entertainment which was home to the girl group A-Daily. She was never announced as an official member and only did one performance with A-Daily. She left shortly after that to join JPLANET Entertainment, where she would officially make her first debut as a member of LUNARSOLAR.

In 2022, when LUNARSOLAR disbanded, she officially made her solo debut with 'Happy Trip.' Fans have really admired her hard work and never giving up.
