Kim Taehyung is the fastest person to hit 50 million followers in Instagram history

In just eight months, Kim Taehyung, aka V, has reached an impressive 50 million followers on his personal Instagram account.

After earning two Guinness World Records for fastest to hit 1 and 10 million followers back in December 2021, he extends his record as the fastest person and K-pop act to gain 50 million followers on the platform's history. 

'#TaehyungInstagram50M' and 'ICONIC THV 50MILLION' both trended to #1 and #2 worldwide on Twitter as fans celebrated his record-breaking milestone. 

For the month of August, Taehyung is also the highest-ranked K-pop account on the 'Top 1000 Instagram Influencers' list by HypeAuditor. The AI-powered influencer platform ranks Instagram profiles based on quality audience and authentic engagement.
