BLACKPINK's "Pink Venom" becomes the first track to directly debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart

BLACKPINK's "PINK VENOM" has just scored another significant achievement to the multiple records already in their possession.

Billboard reported on August 23 that “Pink Venom” became the first song in history to directly debut at No. 1 on the Hot Trending Song Chart, and BLACKPINK is the only act to do so to date.

Before “Pink Venom,” BLACKPINK had made it to Hot Trending Songs with “How You Like That,” which peaked at No. 19 in November, being a song released in 2020 when no such chart existed yet.

In second and third place are "LALISA" and "MONEY" by Lisa, who continues to sweep the chart since its creation, marking a milestone as the only female artist to stay for several weeks.

Now BLACKPINK and Lisa are the only female acts to have reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs Chart at least once.
