Following the airing of Kang Daniel’s performance of 'Parade' on the American talk show 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' on June 16, the grand scale of the stage became a hot topic. It was a monumental US TV debut for Kang Daniel with the show’s first K-pop male soloist performance and marked the very first performance of the song itself.

'Parade' is the second title track off Kang Daniel’s first full album 'The Story' and is a song themed around office workers craving freedom.

The stage was set up on a barge on the Han River and was decorated with miniature office buildings.

During the climax, fireworks were shot off from the barge, echoing the song’s message of celebration.

On June 18 he released a video teaching the choreography to his title track 'Upside Down'. Meanwhile Kang Daniel is expected to expand his international activities. The recent opening of his Japan website signals his upcoming debut through Warner Music Japan. He is still scheduled to perform at Japan’s largest music festival 'Summer Sonic 2022' in August.
