Jimin's popularity keeps scintillating consistently, with media outlets and numerous prominent individuals in various fields constantly mentioning him and showering him with love and praises both for his artistry and for who he is every other day.

Such widespread popularity has stemmed from his undisputed status as a top performer in the industry, both in dance and vocals. All of his solo releases hold records on various music consumption platforms, particularly his latest release with Sungwoon 'With You', which is his first official project outside of BTS. The song has been breaking records ever since its debut day and has continued to perform exceptionally well on various domestic and global music charts to date. This is why media entities keep mentioning it, playing it, and reporting on the said records. 

Other than his top-tier artistry, Jimin's personality and breathtaking visuals have also charmed many people across the globe and made them his fans, including top professionals in different fields. In recent days, there have been lots of prominent figures mentioning him or showing their affection for him in one way or another.

One such mention came from the field of literature. On May 23, Jimin was mentioned in an interview by Kim-Dal-nim, a writer known for several publications. She said she likes Jimin and gushed about how his name fits him so well. This is not the first time that she has spoken of her affection for him; she also spoke of this back in 2019 while promoting one of her books.

From the film industry came another prominent figure who showed affection for Jimin recently. Benedict Cua, an actor, and SNS star, posted a picture of himself wearing Jimin's 'With You' hoodie with the caption 'who's your bias.' It could be seen that he was in a professional photoshoot while wearing the hoodie, which would show how much he loves Jimin. The actor has also been open about his favorite BTS member from before, where he has been seen with 'Chimmy' headband severally, including when he was preparing to go to BTS' concert in Los Angeles.

Just recently, another actor, Yoon Hyun-min, also mentioned Jimin during a show while talking to Hyorin and said that he likes Jimin. Hyorin had previously said that she also likes Jimin.

From the arts field, a portrait of Jimin was seen at the Kolkata Art Fair at the Abanindranath Art Gallery, among thousands of other portraits. While reporting on this occurrence, K-media published an article that is titled:  

"The borderline of an angel and a man" Indian art fair displays a portrait of Jimin of BTS...artists’ muse 'The Standard of Beauty of the 21st Century".

Jimin is indeed an artist muse to many, as his striking, beautiful features make him an enigma to be preserved in art for future generations to witness.

In a different occurrence, illustrator y0ngmini posted yet another Jimin illustration on his Instagram. He is one of the illustrators who painted the Jimin photo zone on Nuwemaru Street in Jeju following Jimin's visit to the island back in December of last year, which caused a big stir and saw the tourism traffic in the region increase immensely.

Illustrator and painter Lee K. also shared his Jimin illustration work in progress on his Instagram stories. The finished product had been put on display in exhibitions in Germany and Russia.

Jimin also appeared in a web series, whereby three of his individual shots were seen on the ongoing Tamil web series "II Thaka Saiya." The other photos in the background were group photos, and his having several individual shots speaks to his position in the hearts of those involved with the production of the web series.

The sports field is another area where Jimin never fails to come up. Several top athletes in different countries, especially South Korea and Japan, are Jimin-biased both in their words and actions. This time round, Kwak Yoon-gy, a South Korea's Olympic medalist in short track speed skating and 2012 World Champion, posted a picture of himself with Jimin's framed handprints in LA's LINE Friends store, and he tagged another team member who is also a known fan of Jimin, Lee Yubin and has spoken of him before.

Lee Yubin has mentioned Jimin on multiple occasions over the past few years! In 2018 she stated: "I like all members but among them I'm a fan of Jimin especially.”

The business field is no exception. Brands recognize and acknowledge Jimin's power and impact due to his high global popularity status. Anything he is seen wearing will always sell out in no time, making him the dream brand ambassador for any corporation. JustLoveR, a Korean jewelry brand, recently posted a picture of Jimin wearing a pair of earrings from the brand on their Instagram page and stories.

Regarding his OST with Sungwoon, 'With You' has been featured in a news segment on MBC, on an SBS variety show, on another variety show on SBSplus, on a K-drama media outlet, and on an MBC radio show, among other previously reported media features [read here], all of which are South Korean media entities. In Brazil, 'Capricho' published an article mentioning the song's success on iTunes and its high streaming rate on Spotify.

Being such an all-rounded artist and individual, it is not a surprise how much Jimin is recognized and loved by different people globally, irrespective of their background, and how media outlets consistently play and applaud his music and feature it in various programs. He is the perfect representation of a 'global IT boy.'
