Former April member Yena has signed with Star Base Management Group to continue her career as an actress.
On April 8, Star Bae Management Group revealed, "We signed an exclusive contract with Yang Yena. We plan to fully support her acting challenges and entertainment activities." Yena also expressed, "I want to say thanks to my fans for trusting me and waiting for me. I'll greet you again as a good actor. Please show me a lot of support."
Yena made her debut as a member of April in 2015, and she officially parted ways with DSP Media on April 7 KST.
In related news, Yang Yena is set to appear in the musical 'K School', which is premiering in the second half of this year.
