BTS's V becomes the fastest person in the world to surpass 40 million followers on Instagram

Kim Taehyung's personal Instagram account (@thv) has surpassed 40 million followers in just 135 days, making him the fastest person in the platform's history to achieve this.

Back on December 6, 2021, all 7 BTS members thrilled fans by creating their personal Instagram accounts. Due to V's immense global popularity, he became the fastest member of the group to gain followers. 

Taehyung is also the most-followed Korean male solo act on the platform. 

Taehyung extends his record as the fastest person in the world to gain followers after he previously broke 2 Guinness World Records in less than 5 hours of opening his Instagram account.
