BTS's Jungkook, PSY, and G-Dragon are the most popular male soloists in the "2022 Global Hallyu Trends" survey by the Korean Ministry
In a recent report by the Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange for their annual report “2022 Global Hallyu Trends," Jungkook appeared as the highest-ranking BTS member on the list. The group BTS once again ranked #1 overall on this survey in 2022, and they have topped the list every year since 2018.
According to the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Jungkook ranks as the second Highest Korean Male Idol and third Highest Korean Male Solo Artist in their survey of the Top 15 Most Popular K-Pop Artists in the World. The survey contained votes from a total of 18 countries. The solo artists listed in the Top 15 include IU, PSY, Lisa, G-Dragon, Jungkook, V, and Jimin.

It's really nice to see legends like PSY, BIGBANG, G-Dragon, SNSD and SUPER JUNIOR appreciated on this list. Only goes to show they all have a great impact and influence despite the number of years they've been in the industry. So many younger fans love to mock them and call them irrelevant, sadly glossing over the role they played (and continue to play) in the Hallyu Wave. But it's because of these artists many people like me fell in love with KPOP. So, hats off to these legendary acts!
