2PM's Junho & Girls' Generation's YoonA to reunite in romantic comedy drama 'King the Land'

2PM's Junho and Girls' Generation's YoonA will be reuniting in a brand new romantic comedy drama series, after their excellent chemistry at the '2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon'!

Junho and YoonA have been cast as the leads of a drama titled 'King the Land' (working title), centered around the stories of hoteliers. First, Junho will play the chaebol son of a top family who owns a collection of luxury hotel, airline, and distribution businesses, Goo Won. Caught up in the heat of a ferocious inheritance battle, Goo Won has the brains, elegance, and charms to come out on top. However, he's totally uneducated in the area of romance.

Opposite Junho, YoonA plays the role of a hotelier with a smile that can brighten up the world, Chun Sa Rang. She decides to become a hotelier at 'King the Land' due to her happiest childhood memory, which took place at the same hotel.

The drama will be produced jointly by NPIO Entertainment and BY4M Studio, and is expected to kick off filming this coming fall, 2022.

YoonA and Junho, both so talented artists, good guys, good friends, and with an excellent chemistry.

I really like them~

No offense but I hope YoonA rejected it. she deserves better, she deserves a drama/series or film where she is the protagonist.

sorry~even I don't like the title of that new k-drama because I deduce what it will be about. I'm tired of gender discrimination in Korean dramas, almost all K-dramas are focused on the male actor giving them the role as the protagonist and therefore the best scripts.

Why don't they make more k-dramas where the protagonist is the actress?

Even in pay there is discrimination, example: a veteran male actor is better paid than a veteran actress (it doesn't matter even if she is more talented than him.)

SM should value YoonA's talents and power more and choose better projects in dramas/films/kpop where her talents can shine and grow even more. she even deserves her official career as a soloist composer-rapper-singer-dancer in kpop with full promo.
