They are the long-awaited and highly anticipated on-screen couple of this year - Park Min Young and Song Kang appeared at the press conference for the upcoming drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather.'

The drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather' tells the story of work-life, growth, and love. The new upcoming JTBC drama 'Forecasting Love and Weather' held its press conference on February 11 at 2 PM KST and was broadcast live.

On this day, lead cast members Park Min Young, Song Kang, Yoon Park, Yura, and director Cha Young Hoon appeared on stage to share about the new drama. Director Cha Young Hoon introduced the drama and explained, "Weather and Love: I was inspired by the fact that life is unpredictable."

'Forecasting Love and Weather' is about a story that takes place in Korea's first Meteorological agency. It draws the story of love that unfolds while forecasting weather and tells the story of the love story that occurs with two people within the company.

Park Min Young will appear as Jin Ha Kyeong, the chief general forecaster of division 2 of the Korea Meteorological Administration. She is a principled leader with a straightforward personality, given her privileged background since birth.

Park Min Young shared that she felt the topic of the meteorological agency was fresh. She explained, "I never looked into a place called Meteorological Administration. So that was really fresh for me."

Because it was content never covered before, she had to put in as much effort. She explained, "First, I fearlessly headed straight for it. There was only a documentary introducing the information on the workers at the meteorological agency. So I had to create a character based on that information in detail."

Song Kang plays the role of Lee Si Woo, who is in charge of the special reports in division 2 of the Korea Meteorological Administration. He is a free-spirited character who is also passionate about all things related to meteorology.

Song Kang also shared that he was drawn by the scenario. He explained, "The idea of the meteorological agency and weather really came to me as something fresh. I also liked how I would laugh while reading the script."

Song Kang also revealed his fondness for his character and explained, "I think the character of Si Woo is someone pure and silly. I think he fits me well. He also has a serious side to him so I think I can show various sides to his character."

There is already high anticipation for the onscreen chemistry between Kang Min Young and Song Kang as Kang Min Young has been known as the 'Queen of Rom Coms,' and Song Kang is the new rising star in the romantic comedy genre in the K-drama industry.

Park Min Young explained she was also excited to work Song Kang and stated, "I researched about Song Kang and felt that there is more greatness that was not seen yet."

Song Kang also shared how he felt working with Kang Min Young and explained, "I was nervous because I got to work with an actress I've seen on tv since I was younger."

Lastly, the two actors gave a sneak peek into the storyline of the drama and explained, "Viewers will be able to understand why the drama is called 'Forecasting Love and Weather,' and also viewers will be able to see how forecasting is done and created."
