DAY6's Wonpil tests positive for COVID-19 and all his activities are cancelled until further notice

DAY6's Wonpil tested positive for COVID-19 and will be stopping all activities until further notice.

On February 8 KST, JYP Entertainment made an announcement revealing that the idol has tested positive for COVID19. Earlier, JYP Entertainment reported that Wonpil would be postponing his 'Pilmopraphy' comeback after one of Wonpil's staff members tested positive for the virus.

However, on this day, the agency made an additional announcement stating Wonpil would be canceling his future activities until further notice after the idol tested positive. JYP Entertainment announced, "Wonpil received two doses of the vaccine last year but one of Wonpil's staff members tested positive so he also took the PCR test immediately on February 7th. Later on the same day, Wonpil also tested positive."

The agency elaborated, "Wonpil is currently not showing any symptoms but is under self-quarantine right after taking the PCR test the day before. He will continue to be under self-quarantine and taking proper measures following the regulation of the quarantine authorities."

JYP Entertainment concluded by saying, "All activities scheduled in the future will be canceled or postponed until further notice and we will make an announcement following the health condition of the artist."

Meanwhile, Wonpil dropped his first solo album 'Pilmography' on February 7, along with the music video for "Voiceless."
