#NCT127_SMADaesang trends worldwide as fans celebrate NCT 127's 1st Daesang at the '31st Seoul Music Awards'

NCT 127 have finally took their first-ever Daesang!

On January 24 KST, the '31st Seoul Music Awards' was held, NCT 127 have bagged their first Daesang (grand prize) for the first time in their career since their debut in 2016. The global boy group also took their 3rd Bonsang (main prize) at the SMA.

Fans are immensely proud as NCT 127 have racked up the impressive milestone, #NCT127_SMADaesang has entered worldwide trends on Twitter with over 100,000 tweets, the group also trended on various platforms including Weibo and Naver.

Meanwhile, NCT 127 members including Doyoung posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, as well as Taeil posted with a caption "Thank you for giving us such a valuable award," thanking their fans after winning the grand prize.

Doyoung crying while the group accepting the award and his message on IG just makes me tear up. To think that the boys ever felt downhearted during their 5+ years as a group just hurts me. It's a highly competitive industry, and yet the boys have proved themselves time and time again with their album sales and incredible live performances. And now, their hard work is paying off. Excelsior! Congratulations, boys!
