On January 23, iKON’s agency YG Entertainment released a statement announcing that members Jinhwan, Yunhyeong and Donghyuk have tested positive for COVID-19 as of today.
According to the agency, the members felt mild cold symptoms the previous day and tested positive on the ART kits, and thus took a PCR test later on which also confirms the contraction of COVID-19.
The statement further notes that all members of iKON have halted their schedules and took the PCR test. While self-quarantining the members aside from Bobby, Junhoe and Chanwoo have tested positive.
Concluding the statement, it reads, “We will faithfully cooperate with the investigation and rules of the quarantine authorities and take necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, sparing no effort for the health and safety of our artists.”
