'Squid Game' nominated for three Golden Globes, including individual nods for Lee Jung Jae and O Yeong Su

'Squid Game' has officially been nominated in three categories for the '79th Annual Golden Globe Awards.'

During the award program's live broadcast announcing the nominees, 'Squid Game' was nominated for 'Best Television Series – Drama,' actor Lee Jung Jae was nominated for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama,' and actor O Yeong Su was nominated for 'Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role on Television.'

In the 'Best Television Series – Drama' category, 'Squid Game' is nominated against 'Lupin,' 'The Morning Show,' 'Pose,' and 'Succession.' Lee Jung Jae is up for his category against Billy Porter ('Pose'), Brian Cox ('Succession'), Jeremy Strong ('Succession'), and Omar Sy ('Lupin'). O Yeong Su is nominated for his category against Billy Crudup ('The Morning Show'), Mark Duplass ('The Morning Show'), Kieran Culkin ('Succession'), and Brett Goldstein ('Ted Lasso').

Meanwhile, the '79th Annual Golden Globe Awards' will air on January 9.
