IU shares that the upcoming album encompasses the 'Pieces' of IU that were never seen before

On December 24 at midnight KST, IU released a special teaser clip through her official Twitter explaining a bit about her upcoming album 'Pieces.' 

In the special clip, IU explained the meaning behind 'Pieces,' the title of the upcoming album, and shared that it is a collection of 'The pieces of IU that were never seen before."

In the video, IU explained, "They're the pieces that were never publically revealed before while I promoted musically. They are the pieces in between those promotions that I never revealed before, that I collected together. That's why it's called 'Pieces.' These songs are individually precious to me, and I have fond memories of them. They are precious songs to me but they weren't a complete image. Rather, I think it's closer than they are pieces of an image. So these five songs would gather and create one image." She continued to say, "Through this album 'Pieces,' I think I would be able to express the message I want to deliver."

Meanwhile, IU's 'Pieces' will be released on December 29 at 6 PM KST.
