During her most recent guest appearance on the SBS web variety program 'MMTG - Civilization Express', Jeon So Mi described how she became friends with aespa's Giselle. 

On this episode of 'MMTG - Civilization Express' aired on November 11, Jeon So Mi went for a carpool karaoke ride with MC Jaejae. After the two stars jammed out to Jeon So Mi's very own hit song "Dumb Dumb", the next song that came on was aespa's "Savage". 

Hearing it, Jeon So Mi exclaimed, "My friend! My Giselle, my girl~", while singing along to "Savage". MC Jaejae then asked her how she became friends with the aespa member, and Jeon So Mi answered, "I hit her up first. Flirting!"

Both MC Jaejae and Jeon So Mi then became immersed in singing along to "Savage", showing off their great chemistry. Jaejae then picked up the conversation by asking how So Mi reached out to Giselle. 

So Mi explained, "Giselle unnie said in a lot of interviews that she liked my songs. I couldn't just let that pass, and actually, one of the dancer unnies who worked with me for 'Dumb Dumb' is also a choreography teacher for aespa. So I totally went to her and said, 'Unnie, I want to be friends with Giselle', and I got her number right away. We totally see each other all the time now, like every couple days? I saw her yesterday, and I'm gonna go see her today after this."
