On October 6 KST, drama insiders revealed that the 2nd season of the Netflix original series 'Sweet Home' will reportedly begin filming this coming winter.

'Sweet Home' was a major success after being released on Netflix back in December 2020, and discussions to produce a second season garnered a lot of attention. For the upcoming 2nd season of 'Sweet Home', actresses Lee Si Young and Park Gyu Young will reportedly be the only original cast members joining the new season. The upcoming season will be adding on new characters, and it is rumored that certain important character roles have already finalized their casting.

Meanwhile, 'Sweet Home' depicted the story of a outcast high school student named Cha Hyun Soo (played by Song Kang), who loses his entire family to a car accident. He moves into an apartment, only to find himself in the middle of an apocalyptic crisis. Hyun Soo then works with his apartment residents to fight to stay alive.
