According to media outlet reports on June 9, Super Junior's Siwon has been cast as the male lead of an upcoming new TVING-original drama series, 'Oh My Savior'.
Based off of a popular webtoon series, 'Oh My Savior' (working title) tells the story of three city girls whose religion is 'alcohol'. Actress Lee Sun Bin, A Pink's Eunji, and Sunhwa are in talks to play the three female leads of the series.
According to industry insiders, the drama's producers had Siwon in mind as the male lead from the very beginning stages of planning, as they needed a "highly charming character". Meanwhile, if cast, this will mark Siwon's return to the small-screen with a full-length series approximately 2 years after his KBS2's series, 'My Fellow Citizens'.
