BTS V's 'Stigma' hits #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, giving V a new record among K-pop idols

In celebration of the 8th anniversary reveal of BTS’ secret weapon, Kim Taehyung, aka V, his fanbases charted 'Stigma' to #1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart.

'Stigma' is V‘s 1st solo track released under BTS' 2016 album, 'Wings,' which he co-wrote and composed when he was 19 years old.

Previously, V's other solo songs, 'Inner Child' & 'Singularity,' also reached #1 on this chart, making him the only Korean idol with 3 solo songs to achieve this milestone.

V is the only baritone vocalist of BTS, and his stellar performance of 'Stigma' showcased his wide vocal range and ability to move between low, medium & high notes perfectly. He has earned countless praise from professionals in the music industry.

Billboard, in their special feature "BTS' 50 Best Songs: Critics' Picks," praised his voice in 'Stigma' and wrote, "V’s baritone vocals even manage to make a falsetto sound smoky."
