Hanteo receives backlash after sales for TREASURE's album were deducted

Real-time album tracking chart Hanteo is currently under fire in regards to 'THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT', TREASURE's recent album, dropping its sales by almost 50,000 copies.
On January 12 3PM KST, the initial sales from TREASURE's full album was already at 112,000 copies. After an hour, Hanteo announced that their database malfunctioned which had caused tracking errors on some of the albums. Thereafter, from 112,000 copies, TREASURE's album sales become 62,404 copies, drastically decreasing approximately 47,900 copies.
As of now, there is still no tracking update on TREASURE's full-album sales. Treasure Makers are expressing their outrage and Hanteo haven't released their official statement yet.

As someone who has been in the Asian Music and Art culture scene for almost 16 years now... and works in IT/programming. I have notices this is not the first time this chart has done this. I honestly have given up on them for the most part. Hanteo, is one of the biggest tech companies music wise there is no reason for their servers to be so unreliable.
