Actor Jo Byung Gyu in talks to star in upcoming historical drama 'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi'

Actor Jo Byung Gyu is in talks to star in the upcoming historical drama 'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi'.

On January 13, reports revealed Jo Byung Gyu was starring in the new tvN drama, and his label HB Entertainment clarified, "He received an offer to star in 'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo YI', and he's reviewing it."

The historical drama will follow secret royal inspectors who undercover corruption, and if cast, Jo Byung Gyu will play the role of Ra Yi Eon. Though Ra Yi Eon is the youngest ever royal inspector to rank 1st on the state exams, he has no goals for the future.

In other news, Jo Byung Gyu is currently starring in OCN's 'The Uncanny Counter'.
