On December 31, Golden Child's label Woollim Entertainment released an official update regarding member Bong Jaehyun, who previously tested positive for COVID19 earlier this month. 

According to Woollim, "Golden Child's Jaehyun previously tested positive for COVID19 back on December 17. As a result, he followed all of the disease control and prevention department's protocol by receiving treatment at a designated facility."

The agency continued, "Jaehyun has now recently received clearance by testing negative for COVID19. The disease control and prevention department has confirmed that there will be no issues with Jaehyun returning to daily life and promotions. All members of Golden Child have also been cleared from self-quarantine after testing negative."

It seems that all of Golden Child will be able to resume promotions as a group soon in 2021.
