Jimin’s solo song “Filter’ remained to be the highest-charting Korean solo song on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart.

On December 1, Billboard released its weekly list of the 25 best-selling international digital singles under the category world music, known as the “World Digital Song Sales” chart. BTS has dominated the chart for the week of December 5. Six of the tracks on BTS’s latest album “BE” debuts on top 1-6 of the World Digital Song Sales.

Moreover, Jimin’s solo song “Filter” maintained its strength and ranked immediately after the BE tracks and took the 7th spot.

With its global popularity, especially in the US, and despite the lack of active promotion, official music video, and that the song has been released more than 9 months since, Filter still remained to be the highest-charting Korean solo song on the chart.

Filter has spent 38 weeks and is tied with “My Time” as the longest-charting solo song from BTS’s fourth full-length album Map of the Soul: 7.

Further, Filter remained to be the overall highest-charting Korean solo song from a boy group on the World Digital Song Sales chart’s history considering all weeks since it has entered it and has stayed in the Top 10 of the chart of 29 weeks. Filter has been charting since its day of release and has not left the chart ever since.

On October 10 or its 30th week on the charts, Filter peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart. It is BTS’s 23rd Billboard World Digital Song number one.

Filter’s success is also further confirmed by its total current streams on Spotify, the largest streaming platform in the world. As of the time of this writing, Filter has garnered more than 107 million streams on Spotify. It remained to be the most streamed solo Korean song of 2020 on Spotify. In fact, in the recently released Spotify’s Top K-pop Tracks of 2020 playlist, Filter ranked the highest at No. 11.

It was previously reported that Filter garnered the highest number of streams on its debut week on US and UK Spotify.

Filter also has the biggest debut for a solo song in 2020 on MelOn, the biggest music platform in South Korea, with a total of 81,376 unique listeners.

Lastly, Filter has surpassed 190K streams on Shazam and is the first and only solo song from MOTS:7 to achieve such a record.

Congratulations Jimin!
