The year 2020 has proven to be an incredible year for BTS member V as the star has bagged multiple records in every aspect of his career.

V, who kicked off the year by releasing his first-ever solo track: “Sweet Night,” became the one and the only artist in history to top 117 countries on the worldwide iTunes chart. He then went on to become the idol with the most-watched solo fancam of 2020 (so far) and also set a major first-ever record on Instagram as three of his teaser photos garnered over five million likes on the platform. Now, the king of iTunes, fancams, and social media has added another title to his name. V, who is proudly known as the “Visual Representative for K-pop,” has become the “Representative Beauty & Style Icon from Asia.”

Whether it is through his one of a kind fashion choices or his dashing hairstyles, or simply his oh-so-perfect visual, V has been named among the Top Celebrities in Beauty & Fashion in almost every list of the year so far.

Recently, V became the only Asian celebrity to be ranked as one of the Top 5 eye candy celebrities of 2020 by an Indonesian Women’s Fashion & Entertainment Magazine. The list consisted of well-known western celebrities such as the Avengers fame stars: Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland, promising young actor Louis Partridge and musician Harry Style.

Moreover, V was notably the only Asian celebrity to be listed by The Guardian and The Cut among stars who rock the trendy “Cherubim Hairstyle.” He was listed alongside popular singers such as Justin Bieber and Troye Sivan, to name a few. Not to mention, V also beat western megastars such as Robert Pattinson and Shawn Mendez to become the #1 Men in the Fashion World of 2020 (September Edition).

Furthermore, V has also become a common face in various fashion magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Marie Clair, GQ, Elle, and Vogue, to name a few. Despite not being an ambassador or an official model for the above-mentioned beauty and fashion powerhouses, V is often highlighted in several articles proving himself to be one of the most critically acclaimed style icons of this generation.
