The Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism in South Korea mentioned BTS Jimin in his recent interview.

Korea Now, an official English YouTube channel for Yonhap News Agency uploaded an exclusive interview with Park Yang Woo, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism in South Korea. BTS's impact and success were among the topic they discussed during the interview. During the interview, there was a segment of mini quiz to see if the minister knew BTS members' name from their picture. Upon seeing Jimin's picture, the minister immediately said, "Yes, wonderful guy. He's Jimin. Why don't know who he is? Everybody has to know his name." Aside from Jimin, the minister also recognized RM from his photo. In fact the minister said"I think all the people around the world would know his name. He is the leader, RM. We have to know about him".
