The presence of Korean food is growing around the world, sparked by the growing popularity of Korean dramas, movies and kpop idols, where characters or idols are often seen eating.

Who wouldn't be happy eating the food recommended by their favourite idol?

Recently, a foreign BTS fan asked BTS V for a Korean food recommendation on weverse. Being the "weverse fairy" he is, BTS V responded to the post recommending "gan jang gyeran bob" (Romanised) or simply soy sauce egg rice. He then added " Cham gi rum many many" (sesame oil, many many).

The interest in V aka Kim Taehyung has prompted BTS fans to try the dish. However, this goes a step further when a famous soy sauce company used BTS V's words to advertise their products.
