TWICE to Represent South Korea in 8th ABU International Song Festival

Dubbed as many including Korean media as 3rd generation's "Nation's Girl Group", TWICE will be representing South Korea in the upcoming ABU Song Festival to be held in Tokyo on November 19.

According to Oricon News, "the 8th International TV Song Festival in conjunction with the 56th ABU General Assembly will be celebrating popular music featuring top andhigh profile musical artists. Participating member organizations will be invited to provide a solo artist or musical group who enjoy mass appeal in their home country."

Other artists to participate on the festival are Adelino Da Silva from China / Macau, A. R. Rahman from India, Dan Sultan from Australia, Dimash Kudaibergen from Kazakhstan, Hanin Dhiya from Indonesia, Hey! Say! JUMP from Japan, Hoang Thuy Linh from Vietnam and Mustafa Sandal from Turkey.
