To everyone's surprise the Guardian published on the 12th of October an article listing the top girl band members of all time and as if it needed to be said Beyoncè managed to reach the first place. The surprising newcomer in this list though was none other that K-pop fenomenon Lalisa Manoban coming in at number 24 with the only other K-pop artist present being Queen CL who managed to reach number 19.
Lisa is known among K-pop fans to be very famous internationally while sometimes getting a bit of a cold shoulder from Korean fans but an article from a source like The Guardian putting her among legends like CL, Beyoncè and Nicole Scherzinger might signify a change in attitude towards her from international media.
Only few days ago her simple appearance at the Celine show in Paris made fans go wilde (

Hopefully this new found interest towards her will make YG realize that she's not just the foreign member of BLACKPINK and that differenciating the attention to all the members might actually be positive for the whole group.
