BTS tops Japan's Oricon chart with record points

According to Japan's Oricon chart released on July 10, BTS' 10th single called "Lights/Boy With Luv" took the top spot on Oricon's Weekly Singles Chart (July 1~7) with 637,000 points - the highest point recorded among foreign artists. Following the weekly singles chart (July 1~7), the group also dominated the weekly synthetic chart ranked on the basis of record sales, digital, and streaming.

Oricon reported that BTS was the first foreign artist to hit 600,000 copies of album sales only in the first week of its release. BTS broke their own record of 454,829 album copies sold in the first week previously set by single "FAKE LOVE/Airplane pt.2". "Lights/Boy With Luv" held the No.1 spot for 1 week as it scored 26,516 points on Oricon's Daily Singles Chart on the seventh day since its release.

US Billboard's main album chart, which has just been announced, also features BTS' three albums. At present, the group members are in the preparation stage of "LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF - JAPAN EDITION" tour, which will be held at Ecopa Stadium, Shizuoka on July 13~14.
