Nielsen just published the mid-year music report. According to the report, Map of the Soul: Persona is now the best-selling physical album of 2019 in the United States, selling 312,000 copies so far, beating artists like the Jonas Brothers, the Backstreet Boys or Billie Eilish. 

In the genre of pop, the group accumulated 979,000 single-equivalent units, beating artists like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran.
