Fans of Mnet's 'Produce X 101' are demanding Yoo Seo Bin's departure from the show.
On May 6, fans came together and posted an official letter demanding the JYP Entertainment trainee's departure from the competition show. The fans stated,
"It's clear the contestant is unfit for the global idol project... His actions can be considered as an immature act during youth but if there are victims then it will forever remain a trauma that cannot be washed away. Therefore, 'Produce X 101' fans are demanding 'Produce X 101's producers to expel Yoon Seo Bin."
Following the first episode of 'Produce X 101,' a netizen shared photos and claimed Yoon Seo Bin was a notorious school bully. To this, another alleged classmate came to Yoon Seo Bin's defense and claimed he was not a bully.
Regarding the controversy, JYP Entertainment commented, "We're checking on the issue," and Mnet also stated, "We've reached out to the agency about the accusations and are waiting on their response."
