Police have found evidence that Seungri solicited prostitution for foreign investors as well as embezzled funds from Burning Sun and have filed for an arrest warrant.

The Intelligence Crime Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Tuesday that it has applied for a preliminary arrest warrant for Yoo In-seok (34), Yuri Holdings CEO, as well as Seungri (29) on charges of violating the law on the aggravated punishment of particular crimes (transfer orders) and the law on the punishment of prostitution and other activities.

"We believe that the case is serious and the investigation showed that there is a possibility of destruction of evidence," a police official said. "Because of this possibility we're afraid that it may be a hindrance in revealing the truth."

"We investigated a total of 27 Japanese investors and booked 17 of the women involved in the prostitution,"he continued. "We booked 12 people, including 2 officials from an agency that planned and executed the Palawan party."

Most of the female workers who were mobilized for the Japanese investors are said to have admitted to the prostitution. Yoo also admitted to calling in women about the case and then remitting the money for the services to an account. However, Seungri, who is suspected of paying the hotel accomodation fee and other expenses for the investors denies the charges saying he "only reserved the rooms for an acquaintance" and was not related to the sex trafficking.

Seungri and Yoo are also accused of siphoning off funds from club Monkey Museum that they set up together in southern Seoul. Yuri Holdings, where Yoo is CEO, also has a 100% stake in the club. As for Seungri, he's also suspected of sharing illegally filmed hidden camera p*rn in more than 20 katalk chatrooms.

The request for the warrant comes 71 days after Seungri voluntarily appeared on Feb. 26 to face an investigation into the alleged sexual favors. Seungri was officially named a suspect on March 10th.
